Carbatec Hinge Mortising Jig with Bit

This new improved design accommodates hinges up to 185 mm long and the new design supplied router bit features a double ball bearing support, for a more positive engagement on the edge of the jig. This hinge mortising kit clamps onto your door and uses the supplied bit (mounted in your trimmer or small router) to recess your hinges accurately time and time again. A quick and simple solution to a normally difficult task. Pair this unit with the Carbatec CT-SCC-01 90deg Spring Loaded Corner Chisel for crisp, clean and accurate hinge mortises. It is possible to route the hinge positions on the door jamb using the ProGrip Hinge Mortice Jig, provided the door stop and casings are not already in position. Weight: 1. 2kg.
