Carbatec Pin Jaws – Precision Hold for Small Turning Projects

Precision CNC machined for Carbatec Chucks, the Carbatec Pin Jaws are ideal for small turning projects such as finials, pepper mills, and other detailed work. Their small but long profile allows full insertion into a matching recess, providing an exceptionally strong and secure hold.

Key Features & Capacity

• Internal Clamping: 7–28 mm square stock, 10–31 mm round stock. Use the maximum spigot length of 32 mm for the strongest grip. Supports stock up to 150 mm × 25 mm at speeds up to 1400 RPM.
• Expanding Capacity: 25–46 mm; full insertion into a 26 mm diameter recess provides maximum jaw contact. Suitable for bowls up to 300 mm diameter × 75 mm depth at 680 RPM.
• Dovetail Hold: Using just the dovetail profile in a matching recess (26 mm × 4 mm) allows bowls up to 150 mm × 50 mm at 680 RPM.
