This bandsaw is perfect for smaller tasks, where the efficiency and speed with which a bandsaw can process material is desired. It excels at cutting curves, though with a maximum rip capacity of 118mm, it is also capable of general wood processing within those constraints. Need to prepare a bowl blank for turning? Split a block into a few spindles? Cut to size some panels for a jewellery box? Make your own pen blanks? Bread boards? This is the ideal machine for such tasks and where you have no need or space for a larger bandsaw.

The newly updated fence is of a style usually reserved for larger premium machines! The aluminium face can be used in high or low positions according to need. The fence rail is large with an easy-to-read scale, while the fence head is adjustable for both drift and movement, featuring 8 adjustable nylon glides. The large locking toggle means using this fence is a breeze. Other features of this machine include a rack & pinion adjusted blade guard; a 2-1/2" dust port angled to provide easier access for hose installation; bearing blade guides; a cast iron table; cast alloy wheels and an alloy finned 1/2HP induction motor, appropriate for the capacity.
